Tour of Pittsburgh’s Historic Library Landscape

An event that’s part of Pittsburgh’s Small Press Festival:

It’s this Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 1:00 pm to about 4:30 pm.

*Admission fee* is $10.
…Fee includes one free book from Autumn House Press, a free copy of Verdure Magazine (the library issue) and a map of Allegheny County’s most historic libraries

The guided tour of Pittsburgh’s historic library landscape will be 3 hours long, including transport it may last 3 1/2 hours. We will see and hear about several of Pittsburgh’s most historic libraries. The tour will be conducted by library advocate, Karen Lillis.

Libraries will include:
Lawrenceville Library
Braddock Library
Homestead Library
the new Galliot Center for Newman Studies
